Classic car from Netflix series made in Longbridge

A Rover Metro car made in Longbridge has recently appeared in one of the most-watched TV dramas this year.

The vehicle is featured in the opening scene of episode 10 of the One Day drama series on Netflix.

It belongs to Gary Weston, from Armitage, near Rugeley, Staffordshire.

He said the producers might have taken an interest in the Metro because the car was popular in the 1990s.
