'Flood washed huge fish into our garden'

One Somerset family experienced an unusual consequence of Monday's flooding as large fish ended up in their garden.

The Lintens, who live in Shepton Beauchamp, said "huge fish" were being washed into their property after heavy rains which began on Sunday.

"We managed to pick up at least six dead fish, huge carp I think they were," said Fiona Linten.

Shepton Beauchamp is near Ilminster, one of the places hit hard by the flood waters.
