Moment police force entry to house in drugs raid

Police have conducted dawn raids on several properties across the west of Scotland as they target members of a new organised crime group.

The BBC was invited to watch as specialist public order officers used glass cutters to enter a house in Barrhead in East Renfrewshire.

A further 12 addresses were simultaneously raided across Greater Glasgow, Ayrshire, Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire in connection with the investigation.

The operation - codenamed Silhouette - has so far led to a total of 36 arrests, the seizure of cocaine and cannabis worth £6m, and the discovery of £1.5m in cash.
