Dog swims extended due to popular demand

An outdoor pool in Leicestershire has extended its swimming sessions for dogs after high demand for bookings.

Water-loving pets will now be able to show off their doggy paddle skills at Ashby Leisure Centre and Lido - which is 95 years old - until Sunday.

The poolside area will be disinfected, and the pool will be filtered and cleaned before closing for the season, said Everyone Active, which runs the centre.
