Moment UK's last coal-fired power station shuts down

The UK's last coal-fired power station has closed.

The plant in Ratcliffe-on-Soar, Nottinghamshire, finished operations on Monday after running since 1967.

The closure ends Britain's 142-year reliance on coal.

The site owner, Uniper, released footage of the moment Unit 4 - the last to operate at the plant - was shut down.
