'I was never broken, I was just autistic'
An influencer has described her late diagnosis of autism as "like turning the windscreen wipers on" during a storm.
Celyn Harvey said her diagnosis did not necessarily stop the storm "but I can definitely see things a lot more clearly now".
She said being diagnosed with autism aged 22 enabled her to understand "why my life has been so hard up until this point", including feeling exhausted and being unable to feed herself most days.
She said she was "never ever broken to begin with - I was just autistic - and that's OK".
Ms Harvey wants to dispel myths around autism and especially women with autism.
