Assistance dog turns RSPCA inspector's life around

A former RSPCA inspector has told how her life has been completely changed thanks to the tasks carried out by her assistance dog after a spinal stroke left her disabled.

Caroline Hall, from Bolton, spent most of her days helping animals in her job at the charity but now an animal is assisting her.

Sailor's favourite job is gathering up dirty washing and putting it in the washing machine, Ms Hall said, but he can also turn lights on and off and fetch her slippers.

The pet was provided to Ms Hall by Dogs for Good, a charity that trains assistance dogs for those living with a physical disability or conditions such as autism.
