Inside London's new air ambulance helicopter

London's two new air ambulance helicopters are weeks away from entering service following a two-year fundraising drive.

The new aircraft will need less maintenance than their predecessors, which means they'll be able to attend more emergency call outs.

The helicopters cost £15m, but the fundraising will continue as while the medical staff are provided by the NHS, the helicopters and support staff are paid for through donations.
