Trafalgar Square Christmas tree arrives in London
The 79th Trafalgar Square Christmas tree has arrived in London.
The 20m (65ft) Norwegian spruce reached the capital at about 06:00 GMT after travelling from a forest in Oslo, where it was felled last month.
Every year since 1947, Norway has gifted a tree to the UK as thanks for Britain's support during World War Two.
The lights will now be installed and officially switched on this Thursday.
