Train crash: Witnesses describe shock at scene

A witness at the scene of a train crash in mid Wales describes seeing blue lights after two trains collided.

Ifan Edwards, who lives about half a mile from the scene in Llanbrynmair, Powys, said he saw ambulances, the air ambulance and two coastguard helicopters.

A man died following the low-speed collision, British Transport Police has confirmed, and a further 15 people have been taken to hospital.

Other witnesses at the scene said it was "quite a shock really".
