A quick take on the Liberal Democrat manifesto

The Liberal Democrats have launched their election manifesto, pledging an extra £9.5bn for health and social care.

The party said its plans for government would be funded by reversing tax cuts for banks and closing loopholes in capital gains tax.

The Conservative and Labour manifestos are also expected to be published this week.
