Watch the weather forecast after Storm Éowyn

The red weather warning for areas of central, southern and western Scotland expired at 17:00 but an amber wind alert continued.

It ended at 21:00 in the central belt but continues until 06:00 north of Perth.

There is Met Office yellow weather warning for the risk of some snow and icy patches for central and southern Scotland.

Winds are expected to calm down on Saturday afternoon.
