Should smartphones be banned in schools?
A secondary school has banned smartphones for Year 7 to 11 pupils.
Oxford Spires Academy's head teacher said the move would create a "calmer, more focused environment".
Smartphones are prohibited items that must not be brought into school. If found, they will be confiscated and a parent or carer will be required to collect them.
