Shock and sadness as Oakwood shuts its doors
People have reacted with shock and sadness to the of Oakwood theme park closing.
The site, in Pembrokeshire, announced on Tuesday it would be shutting immediately with owners Aspro Park saying: "Future investment is unsustainable."
The park, which opened in 1987, almost closed in 2008 but a £25m investment rescued the park.
"I'm quite shocked... it employs a lot of people," said one man, while a woman said: "The place does look unloved."
