Watch: Drakeford gets angry with Labour minister

Former Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford has passionately criticised the Welsh government’s decision to scrap changes to the school holiday.

It follows an announcement that plans to cut the summer school holiday from six weeks to five had been put on hold until the after next Senedd election.

Mr Drakeford directed his comments at Education Secretary Lynne Neagle, who responded that you "cannot have a consultation and then just ignore that consultation".

The intervention comes a day before his successor, Vaughan Gething, will face a crucial no confidence vote in the Senedd.
