Protesters run onto field at Congressional Baseball Game
Climate and pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted the annual US Congressional Baseball Game in Washington, DC, on Wednesday.
Wearing "end fossil fuels" shirts, climate protesters ran onto the field. Eight individuals were arrested and face federal charges for the disruption.
Meanwhile, another group holding a Palestinian flag was escorted from the stands.
The game, a tradition dating back to 1909, pits Republicans against Democrats in a charity event.
