Children's Christmas lantern parade lights up city

Chester's streets were filled with light for Chester's annual Christmas lantern parade.

Children from nine local schools created the lanterns in workshops led by local artist Russell Kirk.

To the delight of onlookers, they took to the city's ancient streets on Thursday evening.
