Man describes fighting off armed attackers in 999 call

A man who was attacked by two masked men describes fighting them off and taking their guns, in a 999 call played for jurors.

"I fought them off, I've got the guns, I'm covered in blood," Christopher Mills can be heard saying, before urgently asking for an armed response from police.

Three people are accused of conspiring to kill him in a caravan he shared with his wife in Cenarth, Carmarthenshire, on 20 September 2024.

His wife Michelle Mills, 46, from Llangennech, Carmarthenshire, her secret lover ex-marine Geraint Berry, 46, from Clydach, Swansea, and another military veteran, Steven Thomas, 47, from Blaengwynfi, Neath Port Talbot all deny the allegations.

Mrs Mills also speaks on the 999 call played in Swansea Crown Court.

"They put the guns towards his head and then they pushed their way in," she can be heard saying.

The trial continues.
