Leaving job not a solution, says autistic twins' mum
A mum of autistic twins has spoken of the challenges she faces in affording holidays and other treats for her children amid difficulties around accessing affordable childcare.
Betsan, from Trebanos, Swansea, said a charity had told her to give up work to care for her children, who are non-verbal and require specialised care, but she said she "wants to work".
"I want to be able to feel like I can give them what I want to give them – and that's not super luxury, just birthdays, [and] one day I might be able to take them on holiday," she said.
