Watch: Trump says he'd love to run for president in 2028

US President Donald Trump left the door open to speculation that he may try to run for president again in 2028.

Trump is constitutionally prohibited from running again by the 22nd amendment.

The remarks were his latest in a recent pattern of Trump playing with the subject, as he has handed out 'Trump 2028' hats to Democratic leaders in a White House meeting last month.

He did, however, rule out the 'too cute' idea that he run as vice president, which some supporters have floated as a way to circumvent the amendment.
