I need dad near home, says dementia patient's son
A man whose father was placed in a mental health hospital nearly 140 miles from home has said they are being robbed of precious time together.
Bernard Mendoza, 83, who has dementia, had to be moved from his Wrexham care home after he became aggressive towards staff and other residents.
But the nearest suitable facility is in Northampton.
"It makes me feel like I'm letting dad down," said Danny Mendoza, adding his father needed "love, support and his family".
