What does it take to be a fa-boo-lous scare actor?

At Halloween, people seek out the weird and wonderful in the form of thrilling and frightening experiences and events.

But what’s it like to be responsible for making people jump out of their skin?

BBC Wales went behind the scenes at Fonmon Castle in Vale of Glamorgan to find out.

“We spend a lot of time thinking about ways to unsettle people, in ways you maybe wouldn’t think of,” said Rhys Williams, the event’s lead scare actor.

“It’s about scaring you, yes. But it’s also about having a really good time.”
