An immersive light experience has come to a city's shopping centre.

Submergence is a large, walkthrough experience of many thousands of individual points of suspended lights, animated to spark different feelings and emotions.

Free light and sound sensory events are taking place in Gloucester's Eastgate Street Shopping Centre until 31 August.

The artist group behind the experience, Squidsoup, said 51,000 people attended Submergence within Gloucester Cathedral in 2020.
