Prince of Wales meets 10-year-old viral video star

A Welsh schoolgirl who captured the nation's hearts when a video of her accepting a Welsh learners' award went viral has met the Prince of Wales.

On a visit to Swiss Valley Community Primary School in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, the Prince of Wales said he had watched the video of Ruby's winning Urdd Eisteddfod performance, adding she "did brilliantly".

"Thank you so much," replied the 10-year-old.
