Deputy PM: There is still far too much cladding on these buildings
Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner has been visiting the site of the Dagenham fire and meeting firefighters who were on shift on the night of the blaze.
The housing minister said there had been "slow progress" since the fire in Grenfell Tower in west London seven years ago and there was "still far too much cladding”.
She added that it was important that residents knew the government and the council "would be there for them".
