'I locked myself out and then a fire engine pulled up'
Lindsey Lowell had just stepped out of her flat when it hit her... she'd locked herself out, with her keys still inside.
Having previously had a bad experience with a locksmith, she figured that a ladder was her best bet and headed over to Clapham Fire Station to ask for help.
The 27-year-old documented the whole journey on TikTok, where she was stunned when a fire engine arrived. The crew sent up an aerial ladder, climbed through an open window, retrieved her keys, and opened the door.
A few days later, Lindsey returned to the station with an assortment of ice creams to say thank you.
