District Attorney on Trump verdict: ‘I did my job’
Alvin Bragg thanked the jury and prosecutors for their work "following the facts and the law".
He said his team at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office had treated this case like they would any other, despite the defendant - a former president - being like no other in American history.
Donald Trump was convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records. It is the first time a former or serving US president has been convicted of a crime.
