Baby giraffe born at safari park
Animal keepers are "delighted" after a baby giraffe was born at a safari park in Worcestershire.
Namara was born on 8 October to 14-year-old mum Akacia at West Midlands Safari Park before she took her first steps about 40 minutes later.
The birth is the latest success for the giraffe European Endangered Species Programme which aims to conserve endangered species, park staff said.
Namara will soon be introduced to the rest of the herd and could be spotted in the outdoor yard in the near future, they added.
