PSNI update on weekend policing plans

A major security operation is being put in place across Northern Ireland, following five nights of disorder in Belfast, police have said.

Speaking at a news conference in Belfast, Ass Ch Cons Melanie Jones said Police will have a “significant visible policing operation” in place across Northern Ireland to ensure everyone is kept safe.
