Watch: Forty years since Carrow Road fire

Archive news footage has shown the extent of the damage caused by a fire at Norwich City's Carrow Road stadium 40 years ago.

Part of the City Stand was affected by the blaze on 25 October 1984, along with the club's boardroom, changing rooms and 700 seats.

BBC footage from the time shows a hole in the roof of the stand and charred remains where seats were located.

The cause of the fire was attributed to an electrical fault.
