Drivers urged to park more safely near schools

Footage has been released showing a fire engine navigating busy streets outside several schools.

The short film has been created by Leeds City Council and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service to show the challenges facing emergency service vehicles.

It has been narrated by the city's former children’s mayor, Mohammed.

Jonathan Pryor, Leeds City Council’s deputy leader, said: “We want Leeds to be the best city for all young people to grow up in and ensuring a safer journey to school is a key part of that.”
