PM confident in his leadership following speculation
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer told BBC South East he was confident he would still be in position ahead of next year's Labour party conference following speculation over his future.
Sir Keir also said the government "can't leave" the system for supporting children with special educational needs "as it is".
Parents are "raising their concerns that the current system simply does not work well," he said, and he would not rule out scrapping education, health and care plans, which legally entitle young people to support.
