Travellers urged to stay in as Storm Darragh nears

A rare red weather warning has been issued for Wales as it prepares to be battered by Storm Darragh.

This is same level that was given for Storm Dennis in 2020 and the Beast from the East in 2018.

People have been advised not to travel as gusts up to 90mph (144 km/h) could strike the coasts and hills of north, west and south Wales.

Weather presenter Sabrina Lee advised people to keep up to date with forecasts.
