The group knitting hearts to help comfort families
A knitting group in east London is appealing for wool donations as its dedicated knitters are going through their stock so quickly making items to help others.
Nimble Fingers Knitting Group in Chadwell Heath was co-founded by Marilyn Wyatt to give older ladies in the area a hobby but it's grown into a charitable effort.
Some of the things being knitted include sets of two woollen hearts for hospital patients and their loved ones, fingerless gloves for homeless people and blankets for the local baby bank.
