Hunter Biden on criminal trial: ‘I think it went well’

The BBC’s Carl Nasman doorstepped Hunter Biden on the same day jury deliberations began in his criminal trial.

Asked how he thought the trial had gone, Mr Biden answered: "I think it went well".

"We've got to wait for the jury to come back", he added.

Hunter Biden, son of US President Joe Biden, is the first child of a sitting president to be a criminal defendant.

Prosecutors allege the younger Mr Biden, 54, lied about his drug use on application forms when he purchased a handgun in 2018.

Mr Biden denies the charges.
