Inside Leeds Town Hall's vast transformation

Progress is being made on a huge renovation project aiming to preserve Leeds Town Hall's heritage and improve event facilities.

The Grade I listed building, opened in 1858 by Queen Victoria, has been closed to the public since 2021.

Work includes restoring the pipe organ in Victoria Hall, said to be one of the biggest of its kind in Europe. The overall project is expected to be completed by spring 2026.
