Misspelled road markings: Your pictures
BBC News website readers have been sending their photos of misspelled road markings after it emerged that US workers had written the word "school" incorrectly on a road approaching a high school. Photo: Jack B, Suffolk
Penny Nicholas: "I found this at a hospital in West Sussex. I always wondered if Charlie himself was coming to entertain the patients."
Charles Napier: "I spotted this mistake in East London just before the cycling scheme was introduced. It has now been corrected."
Meanwhile in Georgia, US, this spelling mistake was spotted by one reader. Photo: Mike Airosus
Brian Biggs: "I don't think we drive on the right here in the UK."
Ruth Duke: "I took this picture of a sign in Hinckley, Leicestershire, where the end of the road had been blocked."
Gerry Ong: "I took this picture in 2008 near Dalry train station in Ayrshire, Scotland. I wonder to this day whether the sign is still there." You can send your photo to yourpics@bbc.co.uk. For terms and conditions see www.bbc.co.uk/yourpics
