Ella Mork, in Oslo, heard the explosion: "I was at home, just half a kilometre away when I heard the noise...
...at first, I thought it was thunder, but then I thought it was a little too loud," Ella said.
Daniel Cherubini: "I was sitting outside having coffee when the blast happened 100m away. All the windows around us exploded as the shockwave passed through the streets."
Eric Wikstrom, who was working nearby when he heard the blast, said: "The air pressure blew out the window. I feel shaky - it's surreal. Norwegians have never experienced anything like this before."
Veronica Sather took this picture of a street near the site of the explosion. Shards of glass lie on the pavement after the windows of some vacant shops were blown out.
Eric Wikstrom added: "I took a photo of a shoe that had blood on it, and wondered what had happened to its owner." Send your pictures to yourpics@bbc.co.uk. For terms and conditions please see: www.bbc.co.uk/yourpics
