Obama: 'Special relationship with UK will endure'

President Obama has said the special relationship between the United States and Britain will endure in the aftermath of the UK's exit from the European Union.

Speaking to an audience in Stanford University, he said: "Yesterday's vote speaks to the ongoing changes and challenges that are raised by globalisation."
