French President Emmanuel Macron posted a video on his Twitter feed, in which he apparently veers away from the approaching US President to greet Angela Merkel and other European leaders first.

When they do finally shake hands, Donald Trump's manoeuvres appear larger than ever, to the delight of the waiting photographers.
