Is a world without Aids possible?
The UN says it wants to eradicate new infections of the HIV virus, which causes the deadly disease, Aids.
In sub-Saharan Africa, at least a million people are still dying from Aids every year.
In this region, HIV is mainly transmitted through unprotected sex, but recent trials have shown that if a positive partner receives full treatment, the chance of passing the virus on is cut by 96%.
However, resources are needed to buy anti-retroviral drugs and in tight economic times, funds are falling short.
