Kenya's 'supergeeks' find way round medical equipment shortages

A group of university students are designing and manufacturing inexpensive medical equipment to help reduce maternal mortality rates.

Mortality rates for women giving birth in Kenya are among the highest in the world.

It is often due to a shortage of equipment so engineering students from Kenyatta University are designing and building low-cost machines.
