Libyan rivals in rare handshake after ceasefire talks

Libya's rival leaders shook hands before the world's cameras after saying they were committed to a conditional ceasefire.

Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj and rival commander Khalifa Haftar met in Paris for peace talks, arranged by French President Emmanuel Macron.

Afterwards, the rivals released a joint statement, agreeing a political path forward for crisis-hit Libya.
