Child marriage: 'Titi' was forced into marriage as a teenager in Chad.

Every two seconds, a girl is married before she is physically or emotionally mature enough to become a wife or a mother. That’s according to the Girls Not Brides network.

The central African country of Chad has one of the highest rates of child marriage in the world. Despite a new law in 2015, which aimed to eradicate it by 2020, the practice persists.
