France and Africa: Is it the end of the relationship?

France and Africa share a long relationship that started during colonial times.

French president Emmanuel Macron, like other predecessors in the past recently announced the end of the so-called Françafrique.

But what does Françafrique mean? And is it really the end the relationship?
