Nigeria: Food warehouse robbed amid cost of living crisis

A large group of people raided a warehouse full of food in the Nigerian capital of Abuja.

They stole food worth more than 200m naira ($128,122) including maize, rice and beans.

Nigeria has been dealing with a cost of living crisis which has seen the price of rice increase by 70% since the middle of 2023.
