Kabul rocket attack kills several ahead of US-Taliban talks

A rocket attack on the Afghan capital Kabul has killed at least eight people and wounded 30 others, officials say.

Several buildings and vehicles were damaged.

No group has said it was behind the attack which took place shortly before US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo was due to meet Taliban negotiators in Doha in an effort to resume peace talks.
