Red carpet and military band welcome Putin in China

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Beijing where he is currently meeting his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.

The meeting - the third in just over a year - comes as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has raged on for more than two years.

Beijing has been accused of aiding Moscow’s war by supplying tech and components - but China says none of this is lethal, and also have commercial applications.
