Irish Senator Jimmy Harte found with head injuries

Jimmy Harte was found in Dublin in the early hours of Saturday
An Irish senator is in a critical condition in a Dublin hospital after being found with head injuries.
Labour Party Senator Jimmy Harte, 55, was found at Newmarket Square in the Irish capital at about 03:00 GMT on Saturday.
He was taken to the Beaumont Hospital and an investigation has been launched.
Earlier, he had been at the Ireland v Latvia football international at the Aviva Stadium.
Senator Harte is from Letterkenny in County Donegal.
He was elected to Seanad Eireann (Irish Senate) in 2011.
