Turkey coup: Greek lawyer defends soldiers who fled

Eight Turkish soldiers have appeared in court in Greece, after their military helicopter landed in Alexandroupoli during the Turkish attempted coup.

Since the soldiers' arrival on Saturday, Greece has been considering whether to send them back. Turkey sees them as “traitors” and they might eventually face the death penalty.

A lawyer for four of them, Vasiliki Marinaki, explained the dilemma to the BBC’s Bethany Bell.
